Owned and operated by Toronto music mogul Marv “Big Marv” Brown and Roy Fowl, Top Cat is Toronto’s premiere urban entertainment company. Since its inception in 1994, Top Cat Entertainment has catapulted itself to the forefront of Toronto’s urban entertainment scene by providing the city with a series of exclusive events including: Atlantis Sundays (which hosted: Faith Evans, Dru Hill, Funkmaster Flex, 702, Case, 112 and many more U.S R&B acts) and The Top Secret tour featuring R Kelly, LL Cool J, and Xscape. Atlantis Sundays was co-promoted by NBA All-Star and former BET late night host, John “Spider” Sally.

Since 1990, Big Marv created a foundation for urban acts in Canada under his Top Cat Entertainment lifestyle brand. In addition, he promoted American culture offering R&B performers a stage in Toronto and financed major Canadian concert tours to audiences of 20 000 plus.

Sony Music record executive Marv Brown has been selected by Cantor Fitzgerald Chairman and CEO Howard Lutnick to co-ordinate Cantor Fitzgerald's premier Celebrity Charity Concert in 2018. It will benefit 9/11 families and victims of natural disasters of the world and coincides with Cantor Fitzgerald's annual Charity Day on the New York Stock Exchange trading floor, which gives 100% of its global revenues to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. The concert will feature performances from some of the world's biggest artists. Also in attendance will be 9/11 survivors and the families of the victims. Cantor Fitzgerald, which was located in the World Trade Centre, lost more than half of its employees in the tragedy.

Big Marv has recently broadened his Top Cat Entertainment Lifestyle brand to begin development of a music festival in the Bahamas, with plans to provide his expertise to other Caribbean islands.
